In 2010 the Benson Hotel in Braintree in the UK featured on the Channel 4 series of Four in a Bed. The series sees bed and breakfast owners stay in one another's establishments and then pay what they considered fair for their stay. The winner of the four contestants will be announced on Friday 17th December 2010

Open all year round, The Benson Hotel in historic Braintree in Essex is a Grade II listed building dating back to 1540 and combines modern comfort with traditional charm. The Benson Hotel double bedrooms have kingsize beds (unless otherwise stated), are centrally heated and have a hair dryer, television and private bathroom. Room service and ironing facilities are also available and you are welcome to relax in the adjoining licensed Benson Bar where you can choose from a variety of wines, beers and beverages.
